Course Description:

This course is ideal for children seeking to explore and develop their artistic talents through visual art. Parents always strive to discover and nurture their children's talents, and this course provides an opportunity to identify their artistic inclinations by learning the fundamentals of art, focusing on imagination, creativity, and positive expression in an enjoyable manner.

The developmental stage from ages 9 to 11 features unique cognitive and physical changes, where children begin to define their interests and shape their personalities. Therefore, involving them in activities that enhance their self-confidence, focus, perception, and analytical skills is crucial. Art plays a key role in refining and developing a child's character, making it a part of their daily life and influencing their future academic and career choices. Course Program:

Training on the fundamental principles of drawing and using various media in an enjoyable and academically appropriate manner for the age group:

Drawing shapes through geometric forms and connecting them to the surrounding environment.

Understanding principles of perspective and their relationship to proportions and space.

Exploring principles of shadow and light, and how light reflects on forms.

Learning about the color wheel and mixing colors, and understanding their relationship to perspective.

Engaging in still life drawing experiences and natural and urban scene drawing.

Working with multiple materials, such as printmaking, ink drawing, and glass painting.

Using diverse media in artistic production: pencils, high-quality colored pencils, watercolors, and ink.

Exploring various art movements, including realism, cubism, and abstraction.

Learning about Palestinian and international artists and their styles in drawing.

Creating handmade works using clay, collage, and paper to enhance visual perception and tactile awareness.

Opportunities:

Required Materials:

Materials will be provided by the forum as part of the course.

For home practice, it is important for the student to have:

Canson A4 sketchbook.

A set of pencils, eraser, and sharpener.

A set of high-quality colored pencils.

Tuition Fees:

1000 shekels for four months.
