Course Description:
This course is designed for children eager to discover their artistic talents and develop their skills and abilities through exploration and creativity in visual arts. Parents are always looking to uncover and nurture their children's talents; in this course, we will explore whether your child has artistic inclinations by learning the fundamentals of art, which focus on principles of imagination, creativity, and expression in positive, enjoyable, and structured ways.
Children aged 9 to 11 have unique developmental characteristics, as they begin to choose what they like and dislike, shaping their personalities, thinking styles, and means of expression. Therefore, it is important to engage children in activities that enhance self-confidence and increase focus, awareness, analysis, and understanding of the world around them. Art is a primary means of refining your child's personality and development, helping to make visual arts a part of their daily lives, which may influence their future educational and career choices. Many graduates of the program have pursued fields where learning art played a crucial role in their choices and distinguished them in skills and personality.
Additionally, engaging in productive visual art activities reduces the time your child spends on screens and mobile devices—a challenge many parents face. Learning arts and acquiring communication skills through them directly impacts their academic performance by enhancing responsibility, teamwork, commitment, planning, and time management. It is important to recognize that each student is treated individually within the group based on their personality and progress in acquiring skills, techniques, and knowledge, as art is a practice and visual awareness with limitless potential for skill and knowledge acquisition.
