Who should join the Art Garden course?
“Learning in early childhood is like carving on stone.”
Your child is the most important thing you have, and you seek to provide them with the full opportunities that help them gain vital life and social skills—discovering their abilities and strengthening them.
In today’s circumstances, with children spending more time on electronic devices—and because this can negatively affect creativity, the ability to express feelings, and social interaction—it becomes essential to find ways and methods that keep our children engaged in a stimulating, beneficial, and enjoyable way. These activities develop their knowledge and help build technical, conceptual, and social skills.
Art is one of the tools that enhances imagination and self-expression—so your child can communicate and interact positively and gain more confidence in themselves.
What is the impact of art on your child?
This is where Art Garden comes in: your child will experience working with a variety of materials to create artworks based on life, science, and social topics that we live every day.
Our approach is built on the principles of imagination, creativity, and expression—in structured yet fun ways, both individually and as a group.
The Center/Forum has more than 20 years of experience working with children in a safe environment and a creative space, where children learn about themselves and the world around them, forming their identity through visual perception—reflected positively on their psychological, physical, and intellectual well-being.
Through activities that strengthen expression, communication, and understanding what is happening around them—and through practicing and learning art—we will contribute to developing and refining your child’s personality. This is also reflected in improved focus, analysis, time awareness, and commitment, along with teamwork and participation, which strengthens self-confidence and positive communication with family and school.
What experience will your child have in Art Garden?
In Art Garden, we explore life topics built around imagination and self-expression, such as:
Family and professions
The surrounding environment
Palestinian identity and cultures around the world
Human values
We also explore science topics such as:
Urban scenes
The universe
Living and non-living nature
Mechanics and engineering
All of this is delivered through three main focuses:
Drawing and storytelling
Handicrafts / Hand-on activities
Art experiments with materials
We use a variety of materials, including:
pencil, charcoal, wood colors, wax, pastels, watercolors, gouache, and different types of paper—with cutting, gluing, and assembling—in addition to creating artworks using clay, mosaic, wood, and stone.
The program also includes learning about Palestinian and international artists using fun and engaging methods that enrich children’s culture and everyday conversations.
Materials
All materials are provided by the Forum / Center.
Important Notes
Each child is handled individually within the group according to their personality and stage of progress in skills, techniques, and knowledge. Because art is visual practice and has no limits in accumulating skills and knowledge.
The instructors have the experience, personality, and charisma to communicate with children this age using engaging and effective methods.
Ongoing learning in Art Garden skills leads to mastery, and trying new experiences gradually increases your child’s imagination and expression abilities.
