Reem Al-Masri

Reem Masri is a visual artist born in Jerusalem in 1991. She earned her bachelor's degree in visual arts from Al-Quds University, Palestine, in 2014, and a master's degree in contemporary arts from the National School of Arts in Bourges, France, in 2018. She currently works as a lecturer at the College of Arts, Music, and Design at Birzeit University, Palestine.

She was awarded the Palestine Young Creatives Award in 2022.

Her work explores the relationship between land, memory, and personal identity by deconstructing and reconstructing the connection with natural landscapes, investigating their meanings between the visible and the invisible, and between the fixed and the changing. She employs various materials and techniques in her works, including painting, collage, and installation.

It is noteworthy that Masri was one of the students who studied and graduated from the Visual Arts Forum.
