Mohammad Shalabi

A Palestinian artist born in the town of Arraba in the Jenin governorate in 1973. He studied visual arts and earned a bachelor's degree from An-Najah National University in Nablus in 1996. He holds a master's degree in educational administration from An-Najah University in 2004 and enhanced his academic qualifications with a master's in contemporary arts from Yarmouk University in Jordan in 2008. Since 2008, he has been the head of the Department of Arts and Handicrafts at the Women's Community College in Ramallah.

In terms of experience, he worked as a central supervisor for art education at the Educational Development Center of UNRWA in the West Bank between 1999 and 2008. He served as a part-time lecturer at Al-Quds Open University in Nablus between 1998 and 2006, and as a designer, calligrapher, and painter at the Arabic Calligraphy House in Nablus from 1996 to 2006. He also contributed to the development of the new arts and crafts curriculum for the Palestinian Ministry of Education in Ramallah and illustrated some Palestinian curricula between 2000 and 2002.

The King Fahd Forum for the Most Famous Calligraphers of the Quran in the World – Saudi Arabia 2011.

The Exhibition (Hawajes) – An-Najah National University – Nablus - 2012 (which was shown in London).
