Yazan Abu Salama was born in 1993 in Jerusalem. He studied Fine Arts at Dar Al-Kalima College in Bethlehem in 2011 and participated in several workshops, including a scenography workshop at Al-Quds College in Beit Jala. Abu Salama's works reflect the courage of young artists in their use and distribution of materials across the surfaces of their creations. He employs a mix of concrete, gravel, and wire, combined with Lego pieces and drawings. His concrete works can be viewed as small maps that echo remnants of childhood memories, current concrete barriers, surveillance rounds, and Palestinian neighborhoods from an aerial perspective. Yazan Abu Salama participated in two group exhibitions: the Second Wall Hotel Exhibition organized in 2018 and the Fourth Exhibition in 2019. He won third place in the "Let It Sparkle" competition, which allowed him to participate in a group exhibition in Italy in collaboration with the Municipality of Turin in 2019. Recently, he took part in the Ramallah Art Exhibition at the Zawyeh Gallery in 2020.
