She is a studio and public space artist who uses painting and various media to create art projects addressing social and spatial transformations since the late 1980s in Palestine and Arab cities.
Her latest project, "Sweetness of the Country 2022," exemplifies her approach to addressing societal transformation in Palestine since the late 1980s. She has received production grants, including those from Al-Afaq in 2022 and 2015, and a grant from the university president in 2018 from the Maine College of Art. In her role as a curator, she managed the Birzeit University Museum from 2010 to 2017 and was the curator of the current exhibition "A Country with the Sea" at the Palestinian Museum.
She earned her master's degree in studio arts from the Maine College of Art in 2019 through a Fulbright scholarship, in addition to a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Southampton in 2009, and a bachelor's degree in visual arts from An-Najah National University in 1996.
