For every talented person or anyone interested in learning painting and artistic production, who has the passion to experience creating paintings using acrylic colors – for adolescents, youth, and adults. Within every person lies an artist who will shine if given the space to discover and develop their potential. The forum provides an interactive educational, social, and cultural space through which you can express what you think, feel, and contemplate. It is taught by professional, specialized artists with experience in education and art-making.

Through this course, you will spend an enjoyable and beneficial time within a social and cultural context, developing your skills by learning about acrylic colors, their properties, and how to work with them through various experiments in producing paintings of natural scenes and still-life subjects.

Course Program:

Producing paintings on canvas of various sizes using acrylic colors.

Introduction to the color wheel, warm and cool colors, color mixing techniques, and their relationship with shadow, light, dimensions, perspective, and mass/volume.

Learning about acrylic paint material, mastering painting techniques with it, and acquiring the necessary skills to produce paintings.

Producing paintings on various themes including: still life, natural landscapes, and urban scenes.

Opportunities:

Participating in and attending meetings with artists through the forum's program "Dialogue with an Artist".

Participating in the forum's periodic exhibitions in Palestine and abroad.

Participating in community volunteer work using art (optional, based on interest).

Tuition Fees:
1400 shekels for two and a half months (covering all 32 hours)
